Down in the depths where the tree of life stands unseeable to everyone. Beneath that tree a silvery white dome nesting amongst the fresh green moss. There in the dome the greatest of wonders lies. Waiting. Just waiting there for someone to discover its mystery. Guarding this is the everlasting forest of trees swaying and rowing with hairy green leaves. Surrounding this, day and night, are the trixie pixis to whom the dome belong.

Now it happened one fine day when a prince was hunting, the pixis were celebrating the marriage of the nymph of the wood. When crash! The prince’s horse had reared up in alarm and the prince had fell helter skelter into the middle of the pixis festival. Not one moment after that the pixis and the two nymphs of the wood were climbing and clambering over him. Meanwhile, the horse was galloping, top speed towards the rainbow spotted mushrooms to fetch the fairies, which the horse knew would help.

Back at the pixi place, pixis were scurrying everywhere collecting herbs and ferns for the potion to make the prince shrink. They planned to imprison him in the dome as revenge for disturbing their festival. Flapping hard towards them were the fairies keen to save him. Night struck. Soon the pixis were opening the dome, others chaining up the now potato sized prince. After 5 minutes, the pixis were locking and binding up the dome.

But to the rescue coming closer and closer were the fairies, panting hard from flying. At the same moment pixis were yawning off to bed, abandoning the dome, which held the prince. Seconds after that a band of fairies hit the floor. It didn’t take 2 minutes for them to find it. Quick as a flash they had boarded it onto their flying cushions and whizzed off towards the lake of crystals. There they placed the dome, which floated on the water, and sat at the waters edge with the horse.

Soon the moon was edging towards the dome. In a flash the dome had burst open and the prince was free (now not the size of a potato). Losing no time at all, he swam towards the shore. He mounted his horse with a wave of thanks and farewell. In the morning he and a couple of friends came back down to have a look around. But not dome, pixi or fairy was to be seen.
