the
text is a collection of new writings sent into the world whenever
we have enough good work to fill an issue, usually twice a year, more if we
can. If we had to define it, wed say its primarily dedicated to
fiction, but we cant yet define fiction. Perhaps the
text is a research project then, or maybe its a forum for
researchers, called the text precisely
to avoid definitions of the writing in it.
Then
there are subtexts, countertexts, contexts, pretexts, all of which can find
their way in, alongside scripts, speeches and other polemics. We also feature
text and graphic images.
Which
is all just a way of saying we focus on the text itself, not any particular
style or form.
